Baby Aris

Well guys... as if you didn't already know, we are having a girl! We are very excited. Greg, my Mom and I went to my level 2 ultrasound yesterday. It was really great. Yesterday was also Greg's b-day so things just seemed to be going our way..... that's a nice change :)
So the baby looks great. Everything checks out, everything is where it's suppose to be. We have decided on the name Aris... not sure of the middle name yet. Greg and I are kind of in a haze right now. We were both hoping for a girl this time around, but now that we know we have one it's kind of unbelievable. I'm liking it though. I just have to get use to saying "she" and "her." I think I can do that.
Well, I added the ultrasound pics. We hope you enjoy them. Now we are getting ready for Greg's graduation from the U of A next week. It's just one thing after another. BUT I wouldn't change any of it.

Exciting weeks ahead

It's been a while since I updated this thing. I thought I might write a little bit to bring you all up to speed with whats been going on. We've got a lot coming up over the next few weeks. This week is especially exciting because on Thursday we're going to get to find out whether the baby is a boy or a girl :) I have to go in for a Level 2 Ultrasound due to some funny lab results that came back last week. This ultrasound will take an intensive look at the baby just to make sure all is well. My weekly check ups are going good. The heartbeat is strong and the baby is moving all over the place. It's hard to keep track of it when listening because the baby doesn't like to stay still. We'll be sure to pass on the news once we know on Thursday.
Another fun thing thats coming up is Gregs b-day. He will turn 28 on Thursday as well. I even have a babysitter! How's that for planning. It isn't too often we get out without the kids so we'll have fun doing something I'm sure :)
Some more fun and exciting stuff happening in the next couple weeks is Greg's graduation. He will finally graduate from the UofA on December 18. We'll be having a party for him on the 20th at my sisters house. After 4 1/2 years we are less than 2 weeks away! WOW! It's a really exciting time. Greg is hoping to get a job at the school he's student teaching at. They really like him so we're hoping and praying things work out. If an opening doesn't arise he'll most likely substitute for the semester and then we'll know better where we are and whether we'll be staying here or making the big move back to Maine.
The boys are doing great. London just moved up in the world by moving out of his crib and getting into a 'big boy bed.' He has the bottom bunk in his room and he's doing really great with it. Greg and I were surprised. Justice is also doing good. He goes to a speach therapy screening on Thursday morning. He calls it his "fun" appointment. :)
Well, it was a little long winded but now you're updated on whats going on in our world. The boys are looking forward to Christmas. We got our tree yesterday and they had a lot of fun decorating it. I'll get some pics on here soon.

Saturday is a special day...

... it's the day we get ready for Sunday :) As you can tell from the pics, the boys had to take their Saturday night bath in order to help up be on time to church in the morning. Greg recentlty got a new calling in out ward as Ward Misson Leader. Not only does it require a lot of his time, it requires him to be at the Sunday morning meetings before church. What that means to me is that I no longer have a partner in which to get these children put together and to church on time. As if we had it mastered with two people, my crew has been cut down to just me. For those of you who know me well this probably comes as no shock, but I don't do mornings well. I have always been notoriously late. I love my sleep way to much to wake up earlier than absolutely necessary. SO, in order to help remedy this problem we have implemented Saturday night get ready time. ;) Yes, I know, PURE GENIUS! If any of you would like to use my idea, I am giving you permission ;)
Anyway, I let the boys take seperate baths tonight. I had a lot of fun getting some pucs of them. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. As far as other stuff is going, Greg graduates December 20th! We are really excited. For baby news, I hit my 15 week mark yesterday. I'll be 4 months in less than a week. I've been seeing my doctor every 1-2 weeks. It's reassuring to be able to go more regularly. I have an appointment on Monday. Greg and I are excited to find out what we're having in about a month.... or sooner if we can swing it :) Stay tuned for more info.

Fun in a box

November already. We've been so busy these past few weeks and it doesn't seem like we're going to get much of a break anytime soon. We had a yard sale yesterday and raised $91.75 towards our Christmas fund. I'm sure we're not the only ones feeling the crunch this time of year financially and space wise, so to help solve both out problems we decided to hold a yard sale for 1 day to get rid of junk and make some money for Christmas. I think we did pretty good. We sold a lot of junk... no joke, it was total, unmistakable junk. I'm not complaining though, I'll trade junk for money any day :)
Anyway, things are going good. The boys are having fun in our completely trashed house. I have no desire to clean SO don't be surprised if I don't allow you inside if you happen to stop by. They love throwing their toys all over the floor. The bigger the mess, the better. They must think it's the right thing to do since the rest of the house looks pretty much the same :) I added some pics with them playing inside their toy box.

Trick or Treat

Well, Halloween for the Coopers was stretched over a period of 3 days. The boys dressed up as cowboys. We started out on Wednesday by going to my work to trick or treat with the residents. For those of you who might not know, I work in a nursing facility. The residents always love seeing them. The boys are pretty well known at work and they always love it when they come for a visit. We try to keep it on a regular basis.
Anyway, they had fun there, but the didn't end with that. After we finished at work we headed over to the Trunk or Treat at church. Justice had been really cranky since he didn't take a nap that day, but somehow we managed to get through. They had a lot of fun. They saw a some friends from church and got to run around outside for a while.
Thursday we headed out to my parents house for dinner. They are currently on there way up to Utah to visit my brother, Ethan. We wanted to see them before they left, so that was a nice visit. The came Friday.. Halloween :) We were invited to a party with friends from church. It was fun. The kids got to play and break open a pinata. (sorry no accent allowed) The guys bobbed for apples and Greg won in about 2 seconds flat! It was quite amusing. I've added some pictures for your enjoyment.
All and all we had fun and the boys ended their day watching Clifford followed by bed time :) My favorite time of day ;) We hope everyone had a fun Halloween.

Heartbeats

Well, today was a good day. I had my doctors appointment today and it went great :) We (me and my Mom) got hear the baby's heartbeat. It was a little nerve wracking at first because my stomach is extremely noisy at the most inconvenient times so it took a bit to find it, but my doctor did find it and it is beating away at 160bpm- a wonderfully good rate :) We're very excited about this and pray everything keeps going great! We're headed out to my parents house to locate my missing box of maternity clothes. That will be out FHE for tonight. I realize I'm barely 3 months along, but I'm ready for some looser fitting clothes. Wish me luck in finding the ever illusive box 'o clothes.

We have arrived

Hello all. It's amazing that I have figured this thing out... atleast that I've been able to get this far. I have noticed a lot of friends and family doing the blog thing so I have decided to be a follower and follow. So far I have gotten a head ache and really annoyed with the process, but I'll keep a smile on my face because experts say even if your mad, if you smile your brain will think you're happy and then you will become happy :) See... thats me smiling.... and cussing at the same time. haha j/k
Ok, anyway, I love pictures so you may see more pics than blogs on this thing. I'll try and get Greg to add to it too so it's not just me you're hearing from. As for right now, things are going as well and can be expected. Greg graduates in 2 months so thats exciting. The boys are doing great and the next one is on the way.. so far so good. Halloween is a week away. We're looking forward to that. We're going to be cowboys! Ye-ha!
Hope all is well with everyone. More to come soon :)
